Northwest Oregon Different Arts and Music Showcase is an annual celebration of innovative music and arts. A non-profit organization, founded by Gary Dye and Robert "Xeres" Shepard in 2017, NODAMS hosts a concert and a visual arts feature each year in Eugene, Oregon.
The performers at the concert represent a variety of approaches to sonic and musical innovation. The full spectrum between electronic and acoustic is explored, including some astonishing home-made instruments. Some of the artists are improvisers, while others perform original compositions. Some have been musical pioneers for decades, while others are relatively new to the scene.
The art installations may vary between three dimensional objects, paint on canvas, and video or projected light. Poetry, dance, and theater may also come into play.
